어스름한 새벽빛 - Blur / MØ (f. Foster The People)

* 밤 10시에 퇴근을 하면 새벽빛은 상상하기 어렵다.

가혹할만치 깜깜한 밤하늘뿐이니.

하지만 우연한 얘기가 나와서 어스름한, 그러니까 푸른빛이 도는 새벽을 생각하게 됐다.

그리고 그 색감과 함께 이 곡이 떠올랐다.

 

마치 '아무 말 대잔치'처럼,

아무런 개연성이 없다고 느껴지지만

그래도 누군가는 이 곡을 듣고, 나처럼 새벽의 푸른 기운을 느끼지 않을까?

 

물론 이 곡은 계절, 시간, 장소에 관계없이 나름의 느낌을 갖고 있다.

 

 

* Blur

이 곡을 부른 MØ, 처음엔 어떻게 읽어야 할지도 몰랐고 어느 나라 사람인 줄도 몰랐다.

MØ 우리 발음으로 '뫼', 덴마크어로 '처녀'를 뜻한다.

 

1988년 덴마크에서 태어났고 어릴 적부터 음악을 하고 있으며

지금은 꽤나 자신의 색깔을 갖고 있는 뮤지션이다.

다양한 장르를 다루는데, 특히 음색이 마음에 든다.

살짝 중성적인 느낌을 띠는 허스키 보이스에서 묘한 분위기가 전해진다.

 

피처링으로 참여한 Foster The People도 이 곡의 느낌을 잘 살린다.
